Rules
This is a true "fat ass" race (see definition on the FAQ page) in both a literal and ultra running sense. Navigate the course, bring what you need, and buy your own food.
Race starts Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 8:00am and all entrants must finish in 11 hours.
Start and Finish: Taco Bell Cantina, 417 King St, Alexandria, VA 22314
Be present at all 9 Taco Bell stops along the courses.
All Taco Bell locations should be visited in order. There is no required route and navigation between each stop is at the runner's discretion. A GPX file is available for download for your optional use.
GPX file can be downloaded here: Taco Bell DC 50 GPX file.
Eat a menu item from each Taco Bell stop at your own expense.
By the 4th stop (this means, at stop 1, 2, 3 or 4), all entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Chalupa Supreme or one Crunchwrap Supreme (dietary restrictions will be allowed within reason). Note: Breakfast Crunchwrap is NOT a legal substitution.
By the 8th stop (this means, at stop 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8) all entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Burrito Supreme or one Nachos Bell Grande (dietary restrictions will be allowed within reason).
Drinks do not count as food.
Entrants must keep all receipts and wrappers for confirmation at the end of the run.
SURVIVORS will eventually get a commemorative item after successful completion of the run.
No on-course Pepto, Alka Seltzer, Pepcid A/C, Mylanta will be allowed!
Vomiting is allowed, but discouraged.
Additional "rules" may be added, amended, or changed to promote the spirit of this run, which is to do something completely stupid.
The idea for this event was inspired by the original Taco Bell 50k Denver event. It sounded like so much fun, we wanted to bring it to DC. So we cloned it and thank those event creators and give them full credit of course.
This event is not sponsored by or endorsed by Taco Bell Corp.
This event is not associated with the Denver, CO event.
Yo quiero to participate, please RSVP your statement of intent.
